Jooby CMS is a web application for remote luminary management. Brightness control, calendar programmes, and smart operating scenarios save up to 35% energy compared to conventional LED lighting. The platform controls devices using LoRaWAN® wireless technology. No licence is required to use this radio-frequency band.
To remotely control luminaires, you can use the services of an IoT operator or deploy your own LoRaWAN® network. The technology is similar to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Signal transmission range is up to twelve kilometres.
The LoRaWAN® protocol is used for high-capacity networks (up to one million devices) with a wide effective range. The technology combines low power consumption and the right data rate speed. The LoRaWAN® base station covers a radius of 5 km in a city and up to 12 km in an open area. One station simultaneously controls ten thousand luminaries.
